Happy 100th Day of School!
We celebrated the 100th day of school by reading 100 books with our reading buddies!

Our class learned about characters so we can better understand what we read! We worked in cooperative groups on specific books from the author Kevin Henkes. His books about relationships and friends tied in very well with our Bucket Lesson Friendship Unit this month. We collaborated and then created these character posters and a photostory to culminate the character study. Check out our photostory on our class website!
We are learning about Fairy tales and Folk tales during our TAS time!
We read many versions of Cinderella from different cultures and compared/contrasted them.
